28XX tooling is manufactured from S-5 shock resistant tool steel for long trouble free performance. There are round hole punches and dies and standard shapes (obround, square, hexagon, rectangle, double "O" and single "D"), semi-standard and special shapes.This style of tooling is good for large hole sizes of up to 3" and is also good for custom shapes. Standard clearance is stated as 0.006" but can be ordered with a tighter clearance.

28XX medium-duty tooling accessories include a punch holder, die retainer, die adapter, Urethane stripper and bridge stripper. These holders are designed specifically to support standard punches and dies, round or shaped. Fits any press for material ranging from .040" to .125 thick.
